About Brave Atlas

Brave Atlas is an LLC that was founded in 2022. It was inspired after seeing the small collective studios in Oaxaca, Mexico. It was named "Brave Atlas" with the intentionality of artists take risks in going new directions with their work. Brave Atlas opened a studio at the East Bank Commerce Building in 2023 to host up to 6 printmakers.The studio is in a secure building, with maintenance on site, and 24/7 access. Brave Atlas can accommodate copper etching, relief, and mono printing with:

- 24 x 48" Takach press

- 18 x 24" Ferric Chloride vertical etching tanks

- Airbrushing aquatint & ventilation booth

- 18 x 24" hotplate

- 30 x 36" drying rack

- 24 x 24" water bath

- Ductless Fume Hood

- Large rollers and brayers

- private locker and flat file(s)
